It’s true, the person who you are/grow up to become are all influenced by the people around you. You could the scientist that could cure cancer, but if you’re around people who don’t help you focus on studying. Then you’ll dumb down to that level.
I grew up in a neighbourhood that wasn’t the most prosperous. It was a regular suburb in the southern parts of Brisbane....

Australian prices are just ridik.
Like it’s crazy the difference that Australians have to pay for something. For example, a pair of Vans here in Australia are roughly $90 for a good pair. The exact same pair can be purchased in the United States for $45. Which is exactly half the amount. Food is more expensive too. I get that our pay is a lot compared to the pay in the US. And that there are shipment fees and shit. But...

The future.
So in less than a year of working at my company. I’ve been considered and asked if I wanted a managing position. Also my manager told me that his wife is interested in hiring me as a graphic designer/promotional marketing coordinator for her business. She works for high class restaurants and the pay is incredibly good. Yay it’s like $80,000 a year.
Cannot wait to leave Australia. I’m just so keen to be in the US. I love it there. I love the vibe and the atmosphere. Working non stop to have money. 2 weeks to go!
